Wanderlust –Wanderlust is a strong desire for or impulse to wander or travel and explorethe world.

Since I was young I have always loved to explore.  I grew up spending my summers in the woods with my cousins constantly exploring and learning new things. Even just the car rides to the lake I found entertaining… Always with my head out the window looking at all the unfamiliar places.  As I’ve gotten older and learned more about myself, my passion for exploring the unknown has only grown stronger and I realize now it is a huge part of me.

Why Alicia in Wanderlust? … Well why not?!

But really though.. This past year I was in Portland Oregon for Cinco De Maya when I met a group of locals. I introduced myself as Alicia and they said “OH, like Alicia in Wonderland”  They told me that in spanish “Alice in Wonderland” translates into “Alicia en el pais de Las Maravillas”  meaning “Alicia in Wonderland”… This was quite a pleasant discovery for me and multiples times after this i have also had people make the reference.  So when I came to the idea of making a travel Instagram account I needed a catchy play on words that really related to my personality and me being in a constant state of Wanderlust seemed pretty fitting to me:)
